Synopsis: This is a cautionary tale. A seriously disturbed couple find the charming, old ruin of a Queen Anne Victorian in Russellville, Arkansas, and buy it for $1.00. They tore the roof off, cut it in half, and had it moved to some land they owned sixteen miles away because they didn't know any better. Since then, they have hired and fired contractors, had all of their tools stolen, re-wired, re-plumbed, insulated, and essentially rebuilt the entire house. Their only problem is that after four years it still isn't finished. Now they are tired, broke, and wonder what in the hell it is they've done to themselves. And, it's haunted.

Is your house haunted? Two things (see below and
this) I've seen recently have me thinking about this today. I think I may have already asked this once upon a time, but I thought I'd ask since I can't remember. Too many fumes I guess.

This past Oct. (a day before Halloween), I met the former girlfriend of a previous owner of my house under very odd circumstances. The previous owner died young and had lost the house in a foreclosure. By all accounts, he really liked the house. I can't think about it too much or I freak myself out, but occasionally I may (not admitting anything) get a strange vibe. The thing that makes me feel ok is that I seem to have similar plans for the house as this PO :-)
Yes. Thankfully, he (I have no idea who it is) hasn't been here in a long time.
Yes, my house is haunted, but we've come to an understanding.

We don't believe our house is haunted but we do get the rare orb and also my old dog comes to visit rather often. I think he is attached to our other dog who is still alive. He tends to only visit when he is around, the living dog was about a year old when he died which was about 8 years ago. My husband also thinks that the original owner and builder of our home hangs out in the garage once in a while, he feels like he is being watched!
Glad you asked. My house is haunted by at least two, um, beings. If you go www.daintydigs.blogspot.com and search for Whistling Man, Esther or ghosts you can read all about it.
Oops. Seems my search terms were a little off. Try these instead: www.in-a-small-town.blogspot.com/2007/08/when-wind-is-right-youll-hear-his-song.html and www.daintydigs.blogspot.com/2007/08/along-came-spider.html
All very cool, thanks for sharing. I particularly like Ted the Angry Zombie.
Hello -
Yes, we think our house might be haunted. We have named him 'Percy' and even have a picture!

Also, the YuoTube vide isn't working. Is that you in it?
Hey Larry,
I check out the report, photos, etc. That is pretty cool.
Sorry about the Youtube video. It was working a couple of weeks ago. I'll have to see if I can find the video somewhere else. It was a clip from Letterman, and, no, I was (unfortunately) not in it.
I am not sure if the current place I reside in is haunted or not. I have been downstairs in the living room and have heard distinct creaking, like footsteps above me in my daughter's room. So much like footsteps that I actually thought someone might be there, I went to investigate and as I walked up the stairs I could hear the creaking. I looked in and there was nothing, I know that I hear roughly the same noise when my dog is up in that room and he gets down off the bed, but the dog wasn't there that day.
I also grew up in a house where you could see a shadow walk down the stairs, and I once heard a female voice call my name......
