Synopsis: This is a cautionary tale. A seriously disturbed couple find the charming, old ruin of a Queen Anne Victorian in Russellville, Arkansas, and buy it for $1.00. They tore the roof off, cut it in half, and had it moved to some land they owned sixteen miles away because they didn't know any better. Since then, they have hired and fired contractors, had all of their tools stolen, re-wired, re-plumbed, insulated, and essentially rebuilt the entire house. Their only problem is that after four years it still isn't finished. Now they are tired, broke, and wonder what in the hell it is they've done to themselves. And, it's haunted.

Post Secret
Don't read too much into this. I saw it on
Post Secret this week and though that some of you long suffering home owners might find it just as amusing. I know it's awfully black humor. It's certainly something to consider if you're thinking about buying/building/restoring a home.

Post Secret is my guilty pleasure. I suppose that's the point of it--you feel guilty reading other people's secrets even though they sent them in hoping the world would do just that.
Since you like PostSecret you might wish to try CommonTies.com. We publish art with stories as well. But we do more than just secrets. Also we pay for the stories and art we publish.
